The scientific coordination of the Machine Preservation Trial is in the hands of the fully independent Scientific Steering Committee, which consists of investigators from all three trial regions.
Organ allocation rules will not be changed and are the sole responsibility of Eurotransplant International Foundation.
Trial logistics are coordinated by three Regional Perfusion Centers (RPC’s), that each have a pool of trained perfusionists to transport the empty LifePort® machine and collect data.
